Hello!
My name is Jackson Gillies, I’ve been a performing musician for over 20 years. Great music filled my ears for as long I’ve had them - my parents were avid concert goers; my Dad has an encyclopedic brain for music and my Mom is a truly gifted piano player and songwriter.
I got my start performing in school plays and local theater before discovering a passion for guitar and songwriting at 14 after being diagnosed with a chronic, painful skin condition that left me bedridden.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve built a career as a full-time musician, performing hundreds of live shows.
Along the way, I’ve shared the stage with artists like Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald, delivered a TEDx talk at 19 about living with H.S., and placed in the Top 60 on Season 2 of American Idol.

I have been recording, producing, mixing and mastering songs for over 10 years. In 2019, I received my certificate of learning for audio engineering from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, and have worked with dozens of artists to help bring their music vision to life. From full song production, to mixing, to just recording individual instruments.
My studio features high-end gear including Universal Audio preamps and a wide range of instruments ready for your session—full drum kit, acoustic and electric guitars, basses, piano, mandolin, banjo, lap steel, and more.
