Jax Plays Dead performed a 1 hour set at Soho in Santa Barbara as part of a Bob Weir memorial show. It included a debut for Jax Plays Dead of Playing In The Band>Weather Report Suite/Let It Grow>Playing In The Band. Audio available if you click on the title to the left.
Jackson played guitar and sang backup vocals for the legendary lead singer of The Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald. Jackson also performed a few songs with his own band. The event was a fundraiser at The Granada Theater in Santa Barbara CA for The Grace Fisher Foundation. The Grace Fisher Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities through the transformative power of the arts. To see video, click on the title to the left.
Jackson sold out The Alcazar again after releasing his album there in April of 2024. This time he debuted a short film by Positive Exposure starring himself and talking about living with his skin condition H.S.
